The Home Front Legacy Project

The Council for British Archaeology's Home Front Legacy project is a national project helping local communities to identify, research, record and map the remains of the First World War, including sites, places and stories connecting their local area with the War. Our Leeds Pals volunteer researchers have used the Home Front Legacy project toolkit to map and record places in Leeds connected with the Leeds Pals.

You can explore sites in Leeds and Nidderdale AONB recorded so far within the Home Front Legacy project.
